Dad Rockmania! Stream Those Beatles Cuts That Are Deep

It’s been almost  a month joined the world of online streaming. That   means you’ve had some time to move past all the No. 1 hits and radio staples and dip  to the “deep cuts.”

How many times will you listen to Eight Days a Week, Let it Be and Yesterday?   Well, a lot, but still, there are a number of gems on their records that never got as much focus.

With this week’s installment of USA TODAY’s Dad Rock podcast, hosts Patrick Foster and Jim Lenahan highlight Fab Four songs that lots of listeners might have missed. They’re joined on this assignment by a friend, Brett Motiff and fellow Beatles. Motiff remembers being introduced to the band by his older brother, who brought home Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.

“I remember putting that on and listening to it, like   ‘What’s that? What am I listening to?’ … and really getting hooked from there.”
