Oh boy.A pine tree, planted in Los Angeles in memory of Beatle George Harrison, has been consumed by …  beetles.The Los Angeles Times reports the tree, that was planted in 2004 near Griffith Observatory, was put there since Harrison dwelt in L.A. prior to his departure in 2001 and was an avid gardener.Bark beetles and ladybug beetles have decimated the once 10-foot-tall shrub. A new one will replace it shortly.
